چکیده

Aluminum alloy 7075 (Al 7075) has been widely used in aerospace and automotive industries to replace heavier alloys. This is because of its superior properties high specific strength, corrosion resistance, good formability, recyclability low fabrication cost. However, the ductility heat generation during drilling Al often produces a burr at entrance exit workpiece surface. research investigates effect cutting speeds conditions on formation 7075. Drilling was performed dry with conventional fluid using 6.0 mm speed steel drills 22, 44 66 m/min constant feed rate 0.15 mm/rev. The use caused lower tool wear by 42%, 38% 30%, respectively, m/min, compared drilling. As for formation, average resulted 20% root width 10% height than all speeds. study indicated that beneficial as it least minimum formation.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Evaluation of Flank Wear of Iron-rich Binder Carbide Cutting Tool in Turning of Titanium Alloy

Despite the fact that Titanium material has been considered as difficult to cut material, its usage has been increasing day by day in all engineering sectors; wherever criticality is encountered. Many studies are going on in view of increasing tool life at high cutting speed to improve productivity. In this study, attempt has been made to see the effect of iron as a partial substitution  along ...

“a Study of Tool Wear in Turning of Pure Aluminum and Drilling of Cfrp /ti

Tool wear in turning of pure aluminum and drilling of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP)/titanium (Ti) stacks was investigated due to their importance in modern manufacturing. Although pure aluminum is a ductile metal while CFRP contains brittle carbon fibers, there exist also few important similarities which impact tool wear. For instance, neither work material contains inclusions harder ...
